ComDebug Settings for an Adam PGW Balance

Read this in conjunction with the Getting started with ComDebug and COMIML Serial Driver page.

Adam PGW Balance

Serial Interface Parameters are set via the balance's Serial menu. These settings assume data is output on a single line or sent continuously.

COM Port Settings

Comm Port: Select the port to which your instrument is connected.
Baud Rate: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 2
Flow Control: None

Data Format

Prompt Command: !KP<CR>
Example data string: +1.234567<CR>
Data format: ASCII
Example parsing: Ignore Until +-
Extract Until <CR>

Instrument Timing

Read: In the Background
Timeout: 5000 ms
Instrument Idle Time: 500 ms
Data Persistence Time: 5000 ms
