Questions on Using Windmill

Question

Hello, I need your cooperation to know if it is possible to obtain a trial version of Enhanced Windmill software.

This is because I am working on a project to integrate the information from three meteorological stations (Airmar Technolopgy) and I need to know if Logger allows me to export the data to be integrated into a SQL Server database.

Answer

Monitor newsletter subscribers can download a trial copy of Logger, and the other standard Windmill programs. Logger files can be imported into SQL databases. The data files are plain text files with columns of data. The columns are separated by tabs (tsv), commas (csv) or spaces.

Enhanced Windmill is a bundle of all our most popular data acquisition and control programs. It contains the standard Windmill logging, charting, digital and analogue control programs (which are also included in the free trial). Additionally, Enhanced Windmill includes all our hardware drivers, the Graphics process mimic generator, programming tools, alarm logging and other applications (for just £295). If the standard Windmill works with your equipment then Enhanced Windmill will also do so.

Windmill will collect readings from any weather station sending data in NMEA 0183 format, including those from Airmar Technolopgy.
