Display live measurement and control news in your own web pages, absolutely free! Or grab the news feed in any news reader or aggregator. If you already subscribe to RSS news feeds just add - http://www.windmillsoft.com/monitor.xml - otherwise read on for all the options.
Just copy the javascript code below and paste it into one of your web pages. Shortly after news is added, it will appear on your site like in the box to the right. (If you would prefer to use php code, see below.)
If you would prefer a different look, just edit the javascript code.
To show more headlines edit &num=5
For a different text size edit &font_size=10
To open links in a new window, change the 0 to 1 in link_openblank=0"
To remove the descriptions below the headlines, change &desc=1 to &desc=0
To change the length of the descriptions, change &desc_max=60
To change the size of the text, change &font_size=10 (or, to set the text size to that of your stylesheet, delete &font_size=10)
To change the colour of the text, change &fgcolor=000000 (or, to set the colour to that of your stylesheet, delete &fgcolor=000000)
The example above uses Javascript. If you wish you can instead use PHP. Copy the code and paste into your php web page.
With an Internet News Reader, you use a web browser to see your selected news feeds. There are several companies offering this service. For example, if you have a myYahoo account, you can add news feeds to your page there - click http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http://www.windmillsoft.com/monitor.xml
